WELCOME!!!

Here it goes, the first post on the Viking Sports Blog. Feel free to post your own comments, ask questions, and follow our twitter and facebook fan page to stay up-to-date with games, and other shenanigans.

Every week I will answer a couple questions submitted, and give you a breakdown of how things are looking for the Vikings. Each team is vying to be the first in BLC history to win the UMAC Post-season Tournament, and in doing so earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament. Many came close last year, with five teams (men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s basketball, baseball, and softball) qualifying for the conference post-season tourney.

In addition to the regular ole’ blog posts, players and coaches will also post a few blog entries here and there so you can get their point of view.

Student-athletes just arrived on campus and got down to business right away with NCAA meetings, and athletic training meetings. But that doesn’t mean the kids didn’t let loose before starting two-a-days to get ready for the fast approaching season. Get a load of the video and pics from the cross country, volleyball and soccer team’s get togethers.
